Samantha Weatherhead (she/her) is a student therapist under the supervision of Dr. Holly Brown, Ph.D. Samantha has received her M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Louisville and her M.A in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. She is currently working towards her doctorate at Spalding University.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in navigating life’s stressors, anxiety, depression, and trauma while creating a better understanding of their own identity. Samantha aims to develop a solid foundation of trust, safety, and strength to help support their personal desires and goals in life. She works primarily from a cognitive framework while integrating components from interpersonal and relational-cultural therapies.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys playing board games and D&D with her family, traveling, watching shows, and reading. She especially loves being with all her twenty-three animals.
